    "notes": "\"Legacy of Black\" was a game inspired by the classic \"Castlevania\" series and was meant to be submitted to the 2020 Byte-Off Awards. The artist left the project and published the music under new track titles and without the game's branding.\nTracks 3–10 were created in 2019 in the first draft before that draft was scrapped for not working with NESMaker's music engine. Tracks 1 and 2 were created in 2020 in the second draft and more care was put into making sure it would work with NESMaker. The goal was to adapt the first draft into the second so that not every song had to be re-composed, but it didn't come to pass.\nUnlike the artist's previous NES soundtrack \"Code Name: Silencer\" OST, each song was fully composed on piano before being arranged for the 2A03 NES sound chip. The artist tried to take a similar classical music-rock fusion approach as the original \"Castlevania\" games. Track 9, \"Your Destiny, a Solo Cello Piece in C Minor\", was inspired baroque cello solo pieces as indicated by the title.",
