    "notes": "This is the official soundtrack for the unholy roguelite deckbuilder video game Malys.\nIt was a thrill and a pleasure to work with the Summerfall team who trusted me to compose the music for their game. I really enjoyed conjuring up melodies and sonic textures to fit the characters. In my music I'm always looking to explore the boundary between music and sound design and I was able to do that here.\nFor Malys, I imagined the music as three circles that intersected in the middle. These three circles included traditional orchestral music, grunge and alt-rock, and the sound of static and dark winds. This guided my path through composing the music for the game which, in my mind, was a world teetering on the edge of not quite knowing where it is, a story that slowly unfolds but is not quite clear how the main character ended up there, and a sense of disconnection (hence the static reference).\nI hope you enjoy listening to the music as much as I enjoyed making it.\nMusic composed and produced by Belinda Coomes.\n“Malys” - Co-written with Montaigne.
