    "notes": "Under the Island marks some new ground for me, as this is my first time working on an action RPG similar to the likes of Zelda and Secret of Mana. Initially, I was a bit hesitant when I was contacted by Johannes to contribute some music of my own; after all, the game already has such wonderful music by the incredible Miyoko Takaoka (Terranigma) and Brian Kilpatrick (Born of Bread). So I tried to do what I felt was the only thing I could do, which was to write in my own style and sound uniquely me, while creating sounds that would pair well with the current music. I hope my contribution to the overall soundtrack helped elevate (instead of hold back) the beautiful soundscape that was already there.\nThank you so much to Johannes and Simone for allowing me the honor of contributing to their debut game, as I know they really dedicated themselves to making this project a reality. I can't help but be excited, as it makes me remember the times when I was child that got to play charming games like this, and let the time slip away as I got lost in these worlds.
