    "notes": "I'm a huge fan of prog rock, and I wanted to try to capture some of that late 90s/early 2000s prog sound from some of my favorite bands like Druckfarben and Minimum Vital.  I tried to do something a little different with each of these tracks.\nPart of the challenge here, introduced by the fact that this EP is part of the MTEC 62B course at Foothill College, is that I wanted to use as many synthesizers as possible.  It was admittedly hard not to reach for the guitar and bass, and I might end up revisiting these tracks later while adding in those instruments for a more traditional prog rock sound.\nPerhaps most notable here is that this is the first time that I've recorded with the Aurelia, a new EWI (electronic wind instrument) from Terraphones.  I was lucky to be able to preorder one of these on New Year's Day, and it showed up just days ago in time to record a couple of solos on this EP.  I'm super impressed with the way it sounds and how easy it is to learn how to play.\nAll Music and Lyrics Composed by Ian Martyn\nMixed and Mastered by Ian Martyn\nIan Martyn - vocals, Aurelia (EWI), synthesizers, vocoder, drum programming\nAlbum cover design by Ian Martyn\nBased on a photo taken in Luminescent Ledge\nVRChat World by Thorinair\nEquipment used:\nTerraphones Aurelia\nCherry Audio Eight Voice\nCherry Audio Pro Soloist\nCherry Audio Mercury-4\nCherry Audio DCO-106\nEVOC 20 PolySynth\nIf you like the sound of the Aurelia, please check out Terraphones here: https://terraphones.com/",
