In fact, I find the music to be so incredible, that this is my 2nd effort in putting together an album dedicated to the series--the first was dedicated to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (http://baddudesmusic.com/symphony.html). From Kinuyo Yamashita to Michiru Yamane, the composers of this series have done a spectacular job in conveying the demonic-esque atmosphere that Dracula and his minions convey, and I can only hope that I've done their work justice with my own.\nJoshua Morse\n[email protected]\nhttp://jmflava.com\n- Track notes -\n01. Vampire Snap (Castlevania - Vampire Killer)\nI actually had an initial version of this arrangement ready to go for my previous Halloween project, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Resurrection (http://baddudesmusic.com/symphony.html) . However, posu yan busted out the gates with \"garlic\", which completely blew me away (in every sense of the phrase). I felt as if 2 \"Vampire Killer\" tracks on a single collection might have been overkill, so I saved it for such an occasion.\n02. Demonic Conception (Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse - Demon Seed)\nI believe I've wanted to arrange \"Demon Seed\" for roughly 4 years, now. I finally got around to it, and, honestly, did not envision it coming out the way it did. One thing led to another and I accidently combined a trio of genres to make this arrangement happen, but I feel the meld of genres helped to capture the mood the original tune was intending to portray in one way or another.\n03. Madd Forest (Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse - Mad Forest)\nThis track was done for my good friend Richter. It definitely was a win-win arranging this track for him since we both were in love with both Castlevania 3's music, and each other (only the former is true, or so I think). So, here's to you, Richter! I really hope you enjoy it (and the cumshot)!\n04. Wandering Latinas (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Wandering Ghosts)\nHere's another arrangement that was slated to be released on Resurrection. I wasn't happy with where it was at the time, so I decided not to release it. \"Wandering Ghosts\" was one of my favorite source tunes from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, so, at the time, taking a stab at it was a no-brainer, and after 2 months of a love/hate relationship with the arrangement, I'm finally free of it!\n05. Sparkle (Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia - Emerald Mist)\nI think I played Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for an hour or so before heading into Ruvas Forest, at which point I paused the game and let the music play on repeat. The source tune is *amazing*--it captures the essence of Castlevania very well.\n06. Fear of Haze (Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin - VICTORIAN FEAR)\nSame story as \"Sparkle\" with this one. I hit pause and let the music play. This arrangement was pretty difficult to get going as the source was already complex and, at the time, didn't lend itself well to re-arranging. However, I bucked up and put my spin on it and am happy with the final result--I just hope you are, too!\n07. The Solace of the Daylight (Castlevania II: Simon's Quest - The Silence of the Daylight)\nThis was the 2nd to last track I arranged on the album. I felt like the album wouldn't be Castlevania without something from Castlevania 2, as that game's music, in my experience, seems to have the most appeal to the general public.
