It sounds pretty dumb with me just \"derp\"ing it out but it turned into a pretty good song!\nTrack 02:\nOriginally written as kind of a tech demo for the sega master system for a botb competition. I randomly played part of this on the piano a few months later and thought \"this would make a neat vrc6 song.\"\nTrack 03:\nThis is kind of a weak cover of a song I wrote during my first year of writing NES music. The old version didn't really have a melody so much as some random notes, and it used n106. I feel that this version sounds a lot more full, more catchy, and better in general.. while using fewer channels.\nTrack 04:\nOur Way was originally going to be on the Fear of Dystopia OST that never got released sometime in 2008. It was unfinished until May 2011. It's basically about the evil dystopian government coming down on the people (especially at the end). I am tempted to make Fear of Dystopia its own \"album\" here in Bandcamp, because many of the songs are actually complete.\nTrack 05:\nThis was kind of an experiment in Famitracker where it plays through twice and has the triangle play different notes on the second playthrough. The effect is obviously lost in the MP3/FLAC version :)\nTrack 06:\nThis was originally a MIDI I wrote for my OPL3-based sound card. I will probably upload that one as a bonus track or something :)\nTrack 07:\nThe sequel to Fighting for Control! I wrote the base of this during last Christmas at my grandparents' house. Eventually I sent it to tadpole, and we bounced it back and forth a little (he basically set the overall feel of it), then I finished it up after that.\nTrack 08:\nI had put Return to Control's original FTM into dropbox, and someone made a little one-frame swing version of the first little bit. I expanded this out massively, diversified it a bit, added echo... just as a side thing. At one point I realized that it sounded neat and I was putting too much time into it not to finish it.\nTrack 09:\nKind of the sequel to Premonition. This is basically that song (premonition) in 5/4 timing, with the West instruments.\nTrack 10:\nThis track was started ages ago in an OHC, and the second half of it was also written awhile ago in about an hour as well. I liked the two parts but couldn't finish either properly, so I kind of glued them together.. and it worked!\nTrack 11:\nThis was written as a test of MMLShare.com. I finished it and found out that a Battle of the Bits competition was going on, and entered it. I feel that this song turned out quite well.\nTrack 12:\nThis is another track made basically for MMLShare.com. I'm fairly sure the melody was transcribed from me humming on my phone, hence the pitchbendiness of it :)\nTrack 13:\nIt's an old-west sounding song, but in 5/4. I feel like it picks up better in the 2nd half.\nTrack 14:\nThis was originally my first 1-bit Spectrum song. I feel that this version is a lot smoother-sounding, but it's less technically impressive as it's on the NES.\nTrack 15:\nThe final track on the cancelled Fear of Dystopia EP. I had been itching to get this thing finished for years, and finally, here it is.\nTrack 16:\nThe original OPL3 version of The Diamond on this album.\nTrack 17:\nThis was written for the Spectrum in Beepola... my first 1-bit song.\nTrack 18:\nWrote this in XPMCK for the Sega Master System.
